P&C NEWS May 2023 - The Grand Canyon: A Hub of History
The Grand Canyon has become one of the United States' most popular sites in Arizona. With about 2.8 million visitors (pre COVID), it's especially admired during sunrise and sunset. With so many layers of rock, there have been plenty of discoveries. From fossils to artifacts, missing rock and visitors who went missing. With so much being found or discovered, that is still only a small percentage. Tourists, employees and residents alike can ride a train that connects Williams, Arizona to the site. In 1901, some of the first African-American employees at the Canyon worked as porters. Inside I discuss some recent findings within the rocks.
