In the new documentary "The ABCs Of Book Banning," directed by Sheila Nevins, chronicles the impact of book bans in Florida public schools. Her inspirations for starting was seeing Grace Lynne, member of the Martin County School Board, fighting for the children's right to read books that are banned. Restricting access to books and ideas can limit opportunities for learning and development. Sheila also touches on children's rights, freedom to learn, and healthy development.
